Well, my son is 9, so I know your struggle...LOL Mine has the type of hair that is ok right after it is washed but the next day if it is long, it is sticking out all over! I just told him that I was going to have to start putting barrettes and headbands on him! He finally let me cut it when I told him he could play his gameboy while I did it. It actually worked out very well. In 10-15 minutes he was sheared like a sheep! [only I used scissors...] Good Luck!

keep it wavy.... just use mousse and make your wavez a little bigger and it'll make your hair look some what shorter.... and you could ask to have your endz trimmed wit a razor blade so if you decide to have it straight you kud curl the endz and have it look like it's a little layered...
