i heard that people who have been cutting hair for a long time start to find other people's hair growing on their arms, you know different colours, where some of the hairs have taken root in their body. is this really true?

Yep, I used to have to pick peoples hair out of my body with tweezers, it doesn't "take root" as such, but does get stuck in your skin. Gross, but true!! one of the reasons why I no longer cut hair for a living...!!!

Um no, Hair is dead skin cells so it can't plant itself into someones skin.

No. don't cling to such mythical stories. people grow different color of hair just because there is some decreasing pigment in their bodies. it's because you going trough so many color hair change(up in your head), stressed/depresed or some skin ailment that related to cancer. The barber have different color rooted in his body? you have computer vision, man. there is no such things. no sense of karma in barber's bussines, only in hangmen's bussiness.
