My daughters almost 4 and her hair is a little bit before her shoulders i hate it . I only believe in long hair for girls. My sister keeps cutting it if she is watching my daughhter I told her not too and she does not listen too me. She got extremely upset and started yelling at me then she cut again after that. Its weird because her 4yr old has long hair andshe like does not want my daughtersa hair too be as long as heres. What do i do how DO I GET HER TOO STOP IM SO SICK OF IT!!!

you can cut her daughters hair to prove a point. but in reality she is very wrong and you should let her know that. and ask her how she would like it if you did that to her daughter.

Tell your sister if she cant respect your wishes and leave your daughter's hair alone, then she will not be allowed to be around her without you present. If she is your baby sitter, hire someone else. Good luck!

Next time u are babysitting her daughter, call her and tell her you have cut her daughter's hair and let her freak until she comes home and sees that u havent stooped as low as her and make sure she gets the point that this is a 2 way street.

Then stop allowing her to babysit your daughter. It sounds like to me that your sister thinks that your daughter and her daughter are rivals, so she is trying to make your life miserable or trying to make her daughter look prettier. When I was younger, my late aunt would do this all the time (not cutting my hair though). She tried to set us up as rivals, and it eventually ended up that way. My cousin ended up treating me badly for no apparently reason, and I on the other hand... I was like "whatever." Now that I moved to another state, she is trying to be all nice with me because she realizes what a ***** she was towards me... And to be honest, I really do not care anymore.

Anywho, your sister needs therapy... And the next time that you're babysitting her daughter, give her daughter a pixie cut.

My niece's babysitter cut her hair with out getting permission first, and she was never taken back.

Don't leave your daughter with her. She has broken your trust and that is something very difficult to gain back. Also, use it as a good oportunity to teach your daughter about standing up for what she believes in (and what her mommy is teaching her). My husband and I lead Children's church each week. I'm amazed at the kids who's mom's are teaching them about healthy eating and they actually refuse the candy and go to the fruit on our snack table. They've been taught the right way. the bible says "train up a child in the way they should go." Your daughter can learn from these experiences of having her hair cut - AGAINST your's and her wishes - that someone taking advantage of you and "Violating" your wishes is NOT right. We women need to speak out more to the next generation about standing up for the RIGHT way to be treated. This will help her learn all kinds of great truths for the future in her dating life, in her classes, in her career. She deserves to be "treated" right!

I totally DISRESPECT anyone for taking advantage of a little child like that. SOMETHING is SERIOUSLY wrong with her. You need to pray for her and you need to expose the truth to your sister in Love - that she surely has things in her heart that aren't right...is it jealousy, unforgiveness, bitterness? Maybe she needs you to apologize for something, maybe she has not forgiven you for somethign that you don't even know about. Talk to her. Love her. But hold her trust at a distance until she proves her trusthworthiness.

Oooh , that would make me so furious! I would quit letting her watch your daughter, or tell her that you will cut her daughters hair next time. Do you have anyone else to help you get this point across, like maybe your mom or another sister, or even a friend? I don't understand why she would yell at you, though. She sounds like she may be jealous. Other than keeping your daughter away, I have no idea how you can get her to stop. So Sorry!

I'm going to assume you don't have other options for child care and you probably want to continue a realtionship with your sister as well allow your daughter to have a relationship with her aunt and cousin. With that in mind, I would confront your sister again. No matter how angry she gets let her know she is completely out of line and it is not her place to cut your daughters hair. If you do have other options, I would tell her she will not be allowed to be alone with your daughter again until she learns to respect your wishes. I would also point out the obvious ~ How would she like it if you were chopping of her daughters hair! If all else fails... Steal her scissors!!!;-)

I would be pissed off and would have most likely gotten into a fight w/ her. That's just me. You don't mess with my child and think I'll say nothing or do anything about it. Sure you've told her not to do it and she still is not listening to you. Don't leave your daughter with her. Who knows what else she is doing. You'd think she was cutting her hair b/c of head lice or something. Which a lot of parents do when there child has them,must cut their hair,b/c they are hard to get rid of. I'm not saying your daughter has them, just giving an example. What she is doing is not right at all. It is not up to her to decide how your daughter's hair should look like.
