Getting my hair cut.......?

I have hair about 6 inches past my shoulders. It used to be really long then a lady cut it way too short, like 5 inches too short. I think i need a cut now to keep it healthy but Im kinda scared. I dont have any one hairstylist that I can trust. There is a nice salon that i go to and every time, a different person messes it up somehow.

How can I gat it cut, I want layers around my face, very specific, but I dont want to loose too much length.

in the salon just tell the styler what kind you want then she will give you suggestions. . .

If you friend that goes to the same stylist for all their hair cuts and you like the cuts, go to that stylist. You should try to go to the same person every time you get your hair cut. They will know you and your hair which makes you have a great cut.

It will also help if you cut out pictures of what you want from magazines.

I would bring in a picture of the style of what you have in mind.You can get it framing you face and still keep it long in the back. And try to stick to one stylist that you like. Everyone cuts different.Make appointments to insure you get your stylist.
