If you want a Emo Look.... just dye it Black! There is no real Emo Style.... just color! If you are sick of the straight cut but you want to keep the length, get a perm!

well try trimming it and getting some layers..

if you do get it cut really short then try to donate em lo locks of love for kids

you can always wear hair extensions.. if you want longer hair again

I went for an emo haircut a couple weeks ago, (boy short). My hair was originally as long as yours. I've never had short hair and I LOVE it. Go to a good salon and bring pics, they'll know what is best for you.

well if you want to still keep it long..just layer it in the front nd back..its simple and looks good!

well u could always cut it up to shoulder then let it grow back or you could donate hair to the kids in need but if you truly want my opinion then i say get a haircut with streaks and not shorter than shoulder

well if you want to keep it by your waste, just get a simple haircut.

get some layers, and maybe highlights too!

or saying since you are goth, dye your whole head of hair in black.

then you could cut it shoulder length with lots and lots of layers. if you dont like the look on you, there's always extensions.

Just go to a funky salon with more expensive pricing...I don't go to any budget hairdressing salons...their too outdated and don't do a thorough job. Also, I find oldies do what THEY wanna do to my hair, not what I asked for. Get layers in it. Take in pictures of haircuts you love. Ask people around you where they go to get their haircut. ASk the hairdresser to keep it the same length but layer it with short to long layers. Dont be afraid to ask people that walk by or anyone around you where they get their haircut. I find it a compliment when people ask me.

Not a lot you can do if you want to keep it the way it is but you also want to cut it.

Layering and perming for this length is not easy, even for a professional.

My best recommendation would be to do something with the front.
