Some people prefer longer hair because you can take care of it easily. For example if youre late for school you can get up and put it up in a ponytail. You can also experiment with it more.

Some people prefer short hair because its cute, and gives you a girly look. Also because its not that fussy. The down side of it is that you cant put it in a ponytail if its really short and you gotta always make sure its all fixed right otherwise ya gonna look so crazy lol.
