I am five eleven and ready to get my hair cut. It has been long for years. Do tall women look good with short hair? I dont want too manly!!

Try it shoulder length first to make sure it looks good. It doesn't matter how tall you are -- it's the shape of your face. If your face is long it will look good but if it's round or square you will have to look through a book to pick a style that suits your facial structure.

jajaa!! I am 5'11 as well and I cut my hair like short chin length short with lots of puuurdy layers I loved it and I got great compliments!! GO FOR IT!!!

And no you wont look like a man...unless you are one of those professional weightlifter women...wOW now they look like men!!

If you've got the right facial structure, I think is more important than your height.

Cutting your hair will bring a LOT of attention to your face, so if you feel you've got it, go for it.

It will also bring a lot of attention to you body.

When I first cut my hair drastically, I was short and was not at a comfortable weight. The haircut EMPHASIZED my body and made me feel like everything was out of proportion.

But if you're tall, I don't think you should have a problem.

Beware, it might be a bit boring to not have much to do with your hair every morning.

A lot of women cut their hair and love that it's much much easier to take care of. It can also be a lot more fun.

Just be sure of what you're getting yourself into and go for it if it feels right.

Get it enough cut to frame your sides and forehead, tapered off in the back.
